Current opening: Webmaster/IT Support

I seek a web master (student preferred) in or near the Austin, TX area for 10 flexible hours a week to work with internationally known thought leader:

  • maintain several websites,
  • do some site design,
  • manage blog,
  • maintain SEO
  • manage social media accounts.

Requirements:

Must be a terrific communicator, be very responsible, have solid spelling skills, be a self-starter, and have high integrity. Must know: FTP, HTML, CSS, SEO, and basic PHP (includes and if statements) knowledge.

This position will include the following duties:

  • maintain current sites, redesign as necessary;
  • understand/use google analytics and other SEO tools to optimize sites;
  • finalize blog posts 3x/week via WordPress;
  • troubleshoot occasional computer problems on PC, Mac, Android;
  • create powerpoints;
  • troubleshoot Paypal and Americommerce;
  • be able to open/edit .psd, .indd, .pdf, and .ai;
  • assist owner in technology formatting and usage as needed.

Person can work from home. Highly flexible scheduling.
